Activities

Research is plentiful supporting the connection between higher academic achievement and students who participate in extracurricular activities.  More importantly, these activities are fun ways to learn.  So, get involved!

    Athletics and Activities Registration

Step 1 - Directions for registration

Step 2 - A current sports physical must be on file with the school nurse.  These are good for 3 years and are completed by your doctor.  These must be turned in before students can register on Affinity or participate!

In partnership with HealthPartners, the District will again offer a free sports physical clinic at our Well@Work Clinic located in the District Education Center.  The focus of this event is to assist those students who want to participate in sports, but may have limited funds or access for the physical required by MSHSL (Minnesota State High School League).

    Sports Physicals Clinic:

    • Students will need to register and make an appointment via the HealthPartners Appointment Center:  952-967-6857.  Please specify the appointment is for a "sports physical".
    • Students will need to bring 2 forms the day of the event: the MSHSL form and the consent form.
    • Student vaccine records will be able to be accessed through MIIC (Minnesota Immunization Information Connection). The only vaccines students will potentially be due for are TDap and MMR, which will be available onsite.

We hope to have all appointment times filled, so thanks in advance for making this event a success!  Please forward this email to anyone I may have inadvertently missed.
